Kevin Provance’s first novel, “Prisoner of the Game” is set in the same literary universe as his other novels. It’s a first-person account of a tortured, abused man who suffers a psychotic break after the alleged rape of his girlfriend. He brutally murders “The Rapist,” leading him to a killing spree of people who won’t “play the game.” While not part of the Ryan Thomas series, it features the detectives from “Scarecrow” and “Scorpion.”  Both novels make reference to events and locations from “Prisoner of the Game.”
